Focus and Scope

Islamic Law And Local Wisdom is a scientific journal managed and published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. This journal is published twice a year, (June and December). Islamic Law And Local Wisdom is dedicated as a scientific forum for academics, researchers, and legal practitioners to disseminate thoughts, analysis, and research results in the field of Islamic law to the wider community, especially Islamic Law and Local Wisdom, both at the national and international levels. The scope of this journal covers various branches of Legal Science, with special attention to the study of Islamic law both in the context of Islamic Business Law (Muamalah), Family Law (Ahwāl al-Shakhṣiyyah), Islamic Criminal Law (Jināyah), Islamic State Constitutional Law (Siyāsah Syar'iyyah), Islamic International Law (Siyar), Ethics and Morals in Islam (Akhlak and Tasawuf) and Customary Law that Does Not Conflict with Islamic Sharia. Islamic Law And Local Wisdom aims to be a credible and trusted reference source for legal stakeholders, including academics, policy makers, and practitioners in various sectors. The articles published through this peer-reviewed process are expected to contribute to strengthening the understanding and practice of law that upholds Islamic values ​​and substantive justice in society.
