Islamic Law and Local Wisdom (ILLW) is a Scientific Journal in the field of law published twice a year (June and December) by the Faculty of Law, Muslim University of Indonesia. ILLW is a forum for academics and legal practitioners to disseminate legal knowledge to the wider community in the field of legal reference studies in legal journals covering various branches of Judicial Law in the context of Islamic law and customary law in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and the Global context. Manuscripts that have been accepted and ready to be published will be published in the Open Journal System (OJS) in stages. The journal is currently in the process of compiling and submitting national accreditation. The submitted articles are original articles and have never been published anywhere, we hope you read the Publication Ethics first. Manuscript Form. The accepted manuscripts are manuscripts that have never been published before. If the manuscript has been published, the legal risk is borne by the author and will be subject to sanctions. Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian (to be translated into English) and can be written in English. Manuscripts can be research results or review texts (thoughts/concepts) in the field of law. Submission Procedures
Authors submit manuscripts via https://islamiclawjournal.fh.umi.ac.id/index.php/islam/home authors can create an account as an author and submit articles online. Authors who have difficulty submitting manuscripts can contact us at contact. Authors who have submitted manuscripts will receive a receipt for receipt of the manuscript. Note: Manuscripts that are received will not be automatically published, because they will go through a review process by the editorial board. Authors are required to attach a STATEMENT OF AUTHENTICITY stamped with Rp. 10,000.00.
Article Format
The number of words in the manuscript is 4000 to 10000 (including footnotes and abstracts)
The order of the manuscript is as follows: Title (Author Name, Affiliation, Email); Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Method (for original research); Analysis and Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgements (if any); and References.
• Title
The title of the article is written in Arial 17pt, and should not exceed 14 words. Author names in Arial 15pt, affiliations in Arial 12pt, and emails in Arial 10pt.
• Abstract
The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. It should provide a brief introduction to the problem, the purpose of the paper, followed by a statement of the methodology and a brief summary of the results. Arial 10pt Bold font and 150 - 250 words. • Keywords
Keywords are arranged alphabetically and consist of a minimum of two keywords and a maximum of five keywords separated by semicolons (;).
• Introduction
The introduction should be clear and contain the main topics to be discussed in the manuscript. At the end of the paragraph, the author/authors should end with a comment on the significance related to the identification of the main topics and the purpose of the research.
• Method
This research methodology section contains the type of legal research that will be used as a scientific process to obtain research data. Specifically for manuscripts that use a conceptual approach in analyzing research problems, it is not permitted to include a METHOD CHAPTER. The emphasis of the conceptual approach is only included in the abstract.
• Analysis and Discussion
The analysis and discussion contain a description of the research results on the problems that are the focus of the research or the results of the study with a conceptual approach. If in this analysis and discussion there are things that need to be clarified and detailed according to the problems and use sub-chapters.
• Conclusion
The conclusion contains answers and brief ideas/suggestions from the problems that are the focus of the study, or the results of the conceptual approach. The conclusion is made in 1 (one) paragraph by combining the answers and ideas/suggestions.
• Bibliography
The writing of the bibliography (references) is arranged alphabetically without grouping reference sources that have been cited (especially the results of interviews with respondents, not included in the bibliography), the bibliography used is at least 80% sourced from journal citations that can/are easily traced, and 20% from other reference sources. For book reference sources, have a maximum publication year of 10 years (including journals) and are prohibited from using references from blogs and Wikipedia. References at the end of the manuscript must be written in APA (American Psychological Association) format.
